An Inquiring Mind is written by Chris Cochran, principal @ Cochran Information Services. He is a lifelong learner, a passion that has led to a successful career as a researcher and librarian. His areas of focus are international relations; business/finance; and Know Your Customer (KYC) and reputational due diligence. He is also an experienced researcher in the U.S. legislative/legal/regulatory process. Chris developed his interests and expertise over the course of a career with several U.S. federal government agencies including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and its successor U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), as well as nine years as a reference librarian at the U.S. Senate Library. Chris is a member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP), the Special Libraries Association (SLA), and the Southern California Association of Law Libraries.
